The ALPHA Company will have extended training and opportunity to learn and perform Affirmation Ballet repertoire. This trainee company will be performing and participating in outreach, mission, hospitals, churches, special events, conferences and various other venues. They will also be performing with the OMEGA Company at Christmas and in the June concert.
Integrated in their extended training will be education about staging, sound, lighting, stage make-up, costumes set-up and striking the stage. ABC’s focus is ministry and mission to the community and most importantly trainees will learn how to use dance as a vital tool of presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ. Included will be Bible study, developing prayer life and mission.
Application Checklist:
1. Completed audition application.
2. $20.00 audition fee.
3. Head shot photo, attached to application.
4. October 15th auditions:
a. Applications must be received by October 1, and call backs may be necessary.
Attire: Solid color leotard, pink tights, no skirts /pants, etc., hair securely up in a bun. Pointe shoes, if applicable.
b. A personal interview is part of the audition process. You may be invited to the call back audition.
c. Affirmation Ballet will notify you by mail postmarked no later than November 15, regarding your acceptance into the Alpha Company.
