Andrea Sanders
Andrea began her ballet training at the age of seven in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She received her formal training and performance experience with Robert Joffrey, NYC, Edward Villela, Miami City Ballet, Violete Verdi, Jose Greco, Henry Parish, Edith Royal, Martin Friedman and Anzia.  Andrea has performed with Tampa Ballet as principal dancer, Spanish Lyric Theater, Baton Rouge Ballet Company, Miami City Ballet and Southern Ballet Theater.  She was a music major and studied dance at St. Petersburg College and the University of South Florida with extensive study, performance and directing background in musical theater. She has appeared on national TV commercials, exercise videos and a Disney children’s show.  She developed and directed summer theater camps for the City of Largo and the Cultural Center for four years and taught arts education in private schools for eight years.  Andrea was a pioneer in developing the dance program for the Pinellas County Center for Performing Arts, Gibbs High School in St. Petersburg FL.
As artistic and administrative director of Affirmation Ballet and its school of dance Andrea designs programs and implements curriculum for all levels of dance, theater camp and summer outreach. Dedicated to reclaiming the arts for the Lord she pioneered drama and dance ministries in local churches leading workshops to help establish these ministries, as well as, introducing dance in worship while on mission in other countries.
She and her husband Don have raised two children and now have eleven grandchildren, three who are students of dance. Andrea is grateful to be a servant of Jesus and continuing His work in the arts to further the Kingdom.

Lynnsey Marie Terepka
Lynnsey was born in Clearwater, Florida. She graduated form Largo High School with Honors in 2008. She studied drama at Largo H.S. and performed in the musical “High School Musical” her senior year. She now attends St. Petersburg College working towards a degree in Education and is active with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship on campus ministry. Lynnsey began formal dance training when she was 13 years of age. She has been dancing under the direction of Andrea Sanders since 2004 and has been a member of Affirmation Ballet Company since 2005. Her performance experience includes” Nutcracker”, leading role in “Transfiguration” and many other original works created for Affirmation Ballet Company and its school of dance. Lynnsey has also been trained to teach lower level classes at Affirmation Centre for Ballet and currently teaches ages 7 to 12. She traveled on mission with ABC to Ecuador in 2007 and Costa Rica in 2009 to bring the Gospel and share our gift of dance with the people of those countries. Lynnsey is passionate about using her gift of dance for the work of the Kingdom and the glory of God.

 
Lisa Ann Porterfield 
Lisa was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL. She graduated in June, 2010, from St. Petersburg High School International Baccalaureate Program and will continue her education at the University of South Florida. Lisa has been a student of dance since the age of three. Her focus during her formal training has been classical ballet. She studied at Patel Conservatory in Tampa, Fl and began her training at Affirmation Centre for Ballet in 2007 after a brief sabbatical. Lisa became a member of Affirmation Ballet Company in 2008 and is now in her second season. She has danced solo roles in original ballets, as well as, variations from the classics. She assists in teaching the lower level classes at Affirmation Centre for Ballet. Lisa traveled to Costa Rica on mission with Affirmation Ballet Company in the summer of 2009. She looks forward to where God is calling her with this ministry and using her gift of dance for the Kingdom.
