Our History
Affirmation Ballet Company, established in 1995, is a 501(c)(3) Christian organization. A pioneer in responding to God’s call and vision in reclaiming for the Church His gift of dance and expression through movement, developing and sharing this gift so that the body is edified and Christ is glorified. The company is comprised of classically trained dancers unified in Christ Jesus engaging as one body in the “creative” act of expanding God’s Kingdom through the ministry of dance, visual expression and personal testimony. We are called to pursue and maintain the highest of artistic, spiritual and moral standards. Committed to growing in our personal relationship with Christ so the spirit of our covenant can be lived out in the “day-to-day” business of creativity, enabling us to be a resource and witness to the community. In the last 10 years we have had the privilege of presenting the gospel through dance and ministering with more than sixty churches, as well as, community outreach, conferences, retreats, workshops and theatrical events. Sharing the good news and leading those to Jesus through witness and personal testimony. In June of 2007 we traveled to Ecuador with a mission team evangelizing over 2,000 with 1,593 first time professions of faith in Jesus, planting 7 new churches and training 70 national leaders. All to the Glory of GOD! Affirmation Ballet and its school has been a part of Park Place Wesleyan music ministry for six years. We thank God for the opportunities we have with them to partner together in the work of the Kingdom. ABC traveled to Costa Rica in July, 2009 for evangelism and outreach, partnering with Operation Mobilization and local ministries there. God is truly expanding our territory for the work of His Kingdom. We are so grateful to be servants of Jesus!
